About the Artist
Robert Eoff is a representational artist whose primary medium is watercolor.
Bob was born in Memphis and spent most of his professional career in broadcast television, starting as a studio cameraman during his junior year at the University of Memphis. Forty years later, he retired as president of The New York Times Company Broadcast Media Group's nine television stations. During his time in television, he began painting, influenced by illustrators and artists from advertising agencies and newspapers. One artist, Fred Rawlinson, became his mentor and turned Bob's "colored water" paintings into bright, richly painted watercolors.
He is a Signature Member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society and the Florida Watercolor Society, and is an Associate Member of the National Watercolor Society. He is a gallery artist for The Art Cellar Gallery in Banner Elk, NC, and lives on Grandfather Mountain in western North Carolina.
