Wow!  These people can paint!  Today, I worked with these wonderful painters...and we painted "watercolors...not colored water."  
I saw progress on everyone's paper as the day progressed.  Some have taken my workshop before and they are growing like crazy!  It is very rewarding to hear the moans and groans about how "I can't paint watercolors" change to "oh, I see...I get it...of course."
Bonnie, Joan, Carma, Meredith, Ed, Christy, Joanne, and Margaret are excited again about painting...and that makes me excited too!  
Way to go, kids!

Today, final plans for BOB'S BIG Watercolor Workshop Part Deux at Grandfather on Monday. Workshops are always fun and I learn from the painters too. Can you imagine looking at a blank piece of paper or canvas and creating a series of paintings of Helga? Go, Andy Wyeth, Go!

Working on five active pieces this week and trying to finish up several landscapes for a big "lanDscaPeS" show at (D)avid (P)erry (S)mith Gallery in Memphis the first Friday in August...Say something nice to someone today...Mark Twain will smile!

Ready to start a new "work" week.  I have been prepping several photos for painting by drawing detailed and then edited, more simple drawings.  This morning I will layout two or three and begin to throw watercolor on paper...always exciting to see what happens...stay tuned!
