 The Eoffs and Hathaways WOW! What a wonderful time in Scotland, thanks to our friends Rich and Margaret Hathaway(Marg is also an artist)! We returned last night from a week in St. Andrews, the home of golf, and many other wonderful things...scones, haggis with tatties, bagpipers, and other wonderful characters. Thanks to Margaret's 60th birthday and our 33rd wedding anniversary, we made a week-long visit to the land of the purple heather and a number of lost golf balls therein. The flowers in the Fife area were absolutely gorgeous...the rolling farm lands were dream-like...and the people were very welcoming and did not mind repeating themselves for my southern-accent-trained ears. Aye, lass and laddies, it was delightful. Awoke early this morning and ran down to take notes from Cheap Joe himself, Joe Miller...pharmacist, entrepreneur and fellow watercolor painter. Good Show, Joe! Glad to see you Tomorrow, as you can see by the photo above, I will be getting a hair cut...maybe I should head back to St. Andrews for a wee trim...
