I'll miss the colors of Fall this year, but I won't miss the rain we've had this Summer. It seems to take me a month to re-settle. From the time I pack my "studio" up until I reopen down South, several weeks will pass. This year, however, I am ready. I have a half-dozen pieces drawn and ready to start...that's new.
Speaking of new, I just posted three new pieces: Shades of Gray, RFD, and Shade Tree, all at The Art Cellar. These three will help me remember this beautiful, friendly place when the winter winds begin to blow.
"I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again."
